Inspired by the Primary Care BPJS application used by Doctors and health workers, which turns out that most of them still use manual methods (typing with the keyboard)<\/i> to input the BPJS participant card number. So I thought of looking for an application that can utilize Android phones as barcode scanners, where the results of barcode reading can be input directly on the computer. So in this way, the speed of patient service can be increased.<\/div>\n

After browsing here and there, and doing some experiments, I finally found the application I wanted. This android application can actually be downloaded for free on Google Play, but the free version is only limited to 20 barcode readings. The paid\/pro version costs Rp.79,727. So inevitably I had to look for the free pro version elsewhere, and finally found it via torrent download. Although it's actually not good to use pirated applications, but it's okay, the important thing is that it's useful..he..he...<\/i><\/div>\n

The requirement for using this application is that the Computer \/ PC and Android cellphone must be connected in 1 network. So the Android cellphone connection to the computer uses Wifi which is still in 1 network.<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

The following is how to use the application:<\/div>\n

  1. Download barcode scanner application here<\/a>, then install it on your Android phone<\/li>\n
  2. On the computer, download the driver here<\/a>  or here (via dropbox)<\/a>, then install it on the computer<\/li>\n
  3. On the computer, open the application that requires a barcode scanner, then place the cursor on the text input menu.<\/li>\n
  4. Open the Barcode Reader app on your Android phone and scan the barcode. (camera quality will affect barcode reading speed)<\/i><\/li>\n
  5. The barcode scan results will be displayed on the computer automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    This application can be used for any computer application that requires text input. So it can also be used for library applications, cashiers, etc. If you don't have a radio access point at home, you can use your laptop as an access point or hotspot, just search for the method on Google with the keyword \"making a laptop as a hotspot\".<\/div>\n
