Printers with an infusion system are a modification of printers with ink tubes, so that ink can flow continuously without the need to be injected. With an infusion system, it will save the usual purchase of original cartridges or ink. There is no need to bother filling the ink by injecting ink and eventually causing smudged hands because of the ink. However, if the infusion printer is not properly maintained, many problems will arise that will even trouble us. here we present tips so that the infusion printer is more durable and durable:

Tips for maintaining infusion printers:
  1. To prevent the cartridge/head printer from clogging, try to use at least 1 day to print all colors.
  2. Refill the ink when the ink has reached 1/4 of the bottle, by opening the large and small bottle caps then inserting the ink through the large bottle hole. when finished close the two bottle holes again tightly.
  3. If printing in large quantities, try to rest the printer after printing 30 sheets, for printing photos or images, please adjust the number of print breaks, to prevent the head from overheating.
  4. Place the infusion bottle parallel to the printer and use double-sided tape to minimize the risk of spilling ink and contaminating the table or documents.
  5. When using the printer, the small cap on the infusion tube should be opened first to allow air to enter so that the ink can flow smoothly.
  6. When the printer is not in use, the small and large bottle caps on the infusion tube must be tightly closed, this is to avoid ink flooding and causing the catridge/head to short out.
  7. Use the same brand of ink every time you refill, because each ink has a different level of viscosity and chemical composition. And try to buy good quality ink even though it is a bit expensive, but in the future it will save the cost of replacing the head/cartridge which is certainly more expensive.
  8. If the infusion hose gets cold or you want to stabilize the ink color after refilling, use the command Head Cleaning on the printer settings and do not elevate the infusion bottle as this will cause ink flooding and catridge/head shorting.
  9. When you are done using the printer, turn it off and unplug the printer cable from the power outlet so that power supply the printer does not break down quickly.
  10. For Epson brand printers, if the color catridge (red, yellow, blue) is not read, the way to fix it is to press the Resume/Reset button for 10 seconds with the USB disconnected.

  • the initial solution can use the head cleaning facility, or if it is still not possible, soak the head with head cleaner liquid or hot water..if that method is not possible there is a possibility that the cartridge / head is damaged.
