Sometimes we want to find certain pokemon according to our interests or preferences. To find certain pokemon according to what we want, we must know the pokemon's habitat. Similar to the original story in the animated series, these pokemon are also found according to their habitat. Pokemon species or pokemon types can be categorized according to their habitat. Although there are some pokemon that have more than one type. By knowing what the types of pokemon are, it will make it easier for us to find the pokemon we want.

Here is a list of Pokemon types, what Pokemon belong to these types and where you can get them:

Normal Type Pokemon

Normal-type Pokemon can be found anywhere and anytime. You can find them anywhere, including inside your home.
Normal-type Pokemon include: Arceus, Ditto (Pokémon), Eevee, Meowth, Persian, Pidgey, Smeargle, Stantler

Pokemon Water Type

As the name implies, water-type pokemon are of course found in watery areas, such as lakes, rivers, beaches or in swimming pools.

Insect-type Pokemon (Bug)

Almost the same as grass-type pokemon, this insect pokemon is also commonly found in areas containing grass. Because most insect habitats are indeed in grassy places such as in gardens, forests and so on.

Flying Pokemon

Flying-type Pokemon can be found in open areas such as parks, forests, gardens, etc.

Pokemon Steel

Steel-type Pokemon can be found in buildings or other large structures, can also be found in train stations

Ice-type Pokemon

Ice-type Pokemon are mostly found in areas with snow or ice or other cold areas. You don't have to go to the north pole to find this pokemon, as it can also be found near water sources.

Fire-type Pokemon

Stone-type Pokemon can be found in malls, toll roads, stations and parking lots, etc.

Pokemon Grass Type (Grass)

Grass-type Pokemon, as the name implies, can be found in grassy areas, such as in rice fields, grassy garden plantations and so on.

Poison Pokemon

Poison-type Pokemon can be found in polluted swampy areas, heavy industrial areas and the like. They can also be found near water sources and also in buildings.

Pokemon Ground Type

Psychic-type Pokemon

This Pokemon is often found in areas around hospitals. 
Pyschic-type Pokémon include: Celebi, Latias, Latios, Mew (Pokémon), Mewtwo, Unown, Victini, Wobbuffet

Dark Pokemon

This type of Pokemon can be found in dark places
Darkness-type Pokemon include: Umbreon, Poochyena, Mightyena, Absol, Mega Absol, Darkrai, Purrloin, Liepard, Zorua, Zoroark.

Fairy Pokemon

Similar to Dark Type Pokemon, this type of Pokemon can be found in monuments and other famous buildings. In addition, it can also be found in churches and cemeteries or ancient buildings.
Fairy-type Pokemon include: Flabébé, Marill, Sylveon, Xerneas

Dragon-type Pokemon

Dragon-type Pokemon is a pokemon that is rather difficult to find, because it is a rare pokemon. Although rare, this type of pokemon can be found in landmark places of a city, such as monas, old town in emarang, sate building in bandung and so on.

Ghost Pokemon (Ghost Type)

Like ghosts in general, these pokemon can be found in graveyards, old buildings or in residential areas at night.
