Resolve "Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space"
When trying to open an excel file downloaded from email, the file cannot be opened and an error message appears "Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space". I found this problem on a computer that uses the Windows 8 operating system and Office 2016.
Knowing this problem, I immediately checked the remaining hard disk in each drive, it turns out that there is still a lot of free space available. I checked the remaining RAM available in the task manager and it was still sufficient. After that I tried to open another excel file that was already on the computer, it turned out to be able and normal.
Only the file cannot be opened. I tried to open it on another computer that uses the Windows 7 operating system and Office 2007, it turns out it can. Temporary conclusion, it means that there may be problems with the office application program or the windows operating system
Details The error message when opening the excel file:
"Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space.
. To make more memory available, close workbooks or programs you no longer need.
. To free disk space, delete files you no longer need from the disk you are saving to."

After that I right-click => Properties on the file, and the results are like this image below.
It says Security. This File Came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer. Then next to it is a button Unblock. I tried the Unblock button and clicked OK to save the changes and close the properties window. Then I opened the excel file again. Aha.... it turns out that the file can be opened normally!!! Mission Accomplished!!!
Still curious, I tried opening the properties of another file, it turns out that there is no unblock button and security information as above. Looking at the description of the message in the properties "This File Came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer" it can be concluded that the file came from another computer and the system tried to block it for the sake of the computer's security.

It could also be bug of the latest series of Office Applications. The newer the software version, the more user security is enhanced. However, the level of security is usually inversely proportional to comfort and convenience.
For example, if the gate of our house wants to be more secure, one way is to give more than one padlock. Of course, more padlocks will make it difficult for thieves to break into our gate. On the other hand, we will also be complicated because it takes more time and energy to open a large number of padlocks.
