Solve Google Chrome and Firefox Always Show Hi.ru Website

Some time ago my friend complained because every time he opened the browser, be it Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, the Hi.Ru website page always appeared. This usually happens because of installing certain programs or clicking certain links on the website. Usually when installing certain programs there is a warning message that you will also include certain settings, be it adding plugins to the website or adding shortcuts to the front page of our browser. However, because of the habit of just clicking Next..next...ok...ok and Finish, we ignore this warning. Sometimes there are also certain programs that without any warning make certain settings on our computer.

To overcome Google Chrome and Firefox Always Show Hi.ru Website is very easy, what is changed in this case is the shortcut settings on Mozilla and Google Chrome, the initial display settings when opening the browser.

1. Right-click on the google chrome shortcut on the desktop, then select properties
   
2. The display will appear as below, click the shortcut tab. There you can see in the target column there is an addition http.//hi.ru/?10. This addition is what causes Google Chrome to always open the Hi.ru web page link the first time it is opened. Then we have to remove the writing http.//hi.ru/?10 and then click Ok.

If the Hi.ru page still appears, then check the google chrome browser settings by opening the menu option in the upper right corner, then select Settings => when starting, the settings are usually on: Open a specific page or pages, change the website address as desired or select open a new tab page or continue the last page opened. (The setting is for Indonesian google chrome, for English or other languages please adjust).
