Copy Files from Xiaomi to computer via Wifi
Xiaomi is a smartphone vendor from China that uses an Android-based operating system. Xiaomi has developed its own Desktop Interface called MIUI. MIUI stands for Mi User Interface, where the word "Mi" itself refers to the name of the manufacturer Xiaomi. The advantages of MIUI are a simple, easy user interface, and an elegant yet lightweight appearance (does not take up much memory). One of the facilities of MIUI is transferring files to a computer via Xiaomi's built-in Explorer application. In this case the Xiaomi built-in explorer application has an FTP server. FTP itself stands for File Transfer Protocol. A protocol in the world of computer networks used for sending files. So in simple terms, our Smartphone acts as an FTP server and the computer as an FTP client (using Windows Explorer).
Before we move on to the tutorial on how to copy files from Xiaomi smartphones to computers via Wifi network, There are special conditions that must be met, namely our smartphone and computer/laptop must be connected to a wifi network.
- After the smartphone and computer are already on the same network, open the application Explorer built-in from Xiaomi. Then Click the FTP button as shown by the arrow below.

After success, the xiaomi folder will appear. Furthermore, we can perform copy and paste operations in Windows Explorer. However, for images, the preview cannot be displayed directly.
