BPJS (Social Security Organizing Agency) is an innovation in health insurance for the community. It uses the concept of mutual cooperation and alms, where funds collected from BPJS members, especially from BPJS contribution funds from participants who pay contributions, are used to subsidize those who are sick.
There may be some scholars who consider BPJS a haram punishment. But for me, I pay BPJS fees but do not expect to use the facilities from BPJS. How can anyone expect to get sick? As luxurious as staying at a hospital is, it's better to stay at home or in a tent on the beach :). So I consider the contribution as alms.

I thought that if there was a special account for BPJS participants to be able to see BPJS payment data and information about health history, of course it would be even cooler. But for now it is not available, hopefully in the future the BPJS website can realize this. For doctors, there is already a special account, where they just need to enter the BPJS card number, and the patient's data, including medical history, is already available. Even then, if the doctor is diligent in entering patient history data. Sometimes access to the facility is slow, perhaps because the server is not yet qualified and the internet connection is still inadequate.

Currently, the official BPJS website provides facilities to check the payment data of BPJS participants. Although the data displayed is not detailed, it is very useful to know our payment data, especially the latest payment data and arrears that we have to pay. Who knows, due to technical errors, our payment data is not entered, so we can check it through this facility. In addition to the website, we can also use the SMS GATEWAY facility to check BPJS contribution data by sending an SMS to 087775500400 with the format CHARGENUMBER OF BPJS HEALTH CARD.
Although until now I have never successfully used this facility 😀 . Maybe this SMS GATEWAY facility will be more stable in the future. In the past, when using the website facility, the data did not enter immediately after payment, but now after completing the payment, I check the data on the BPJS website, the data has entered immediately.

Explanation of BPJS dues data information:

  • In this information, it is not only the participant's number that we input, but the data of all registered family members.
  • In Column Bill In the example above, it means 80 x 3 months = 240,000 (because of 3 unpaid months). If the month has been paid in full then the nominal value of this bill is "0".
  • Total bill is the bill that must be paid plus penalties if there is a delay
  • Date of last payment is the date of the last payment we made before
  • Payment Amount is the amount of the last payment we made before
