Quadcopter FX Simulator is a Quadcopter / Multirotor RC Drone simulator software with First Person View (FPV), HUD, 3D Acro mode, Return Home, Course Lock, Home Lock, Gimbal camera, Acro mode, and more. By using a smartphone, we can learn how to fly a drone using this app. Before buying a drone, I used this app to learn. By knowing the basic functions of the controller on the drone, when using the real drone we become easier. Actually the most important thing in learning to fly a drone is to master the orientation of the direction of the drone and the orientation of the winds.

This Quadcopter FX Simulator application is a quadcopter simulation, so it is not a game that has levels or special bonuses in the game. To be able to use this application, the minimum specifications that your smartphone must have are a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 480 px. Minimum recommended RAM is 1 GB.

  3. Return to Location (RTL)
    • With this facility, the quadcopter will automatically return to its landing position. It will automatically switch when the quadcopter is out of range.
  4. Position Hold
    • When this mode is turned ON, the system will try to maintain its position when both joystick controllers are released.
  5. Course Lock 
    • When Course Lock mode is on, the drone's movement will follow the movement of the joystick on the controller. So even if the camera is facing towards your right, the drone will still move to the left when you push the joystick to the left.
  6. Lock House
    • The Home Lock feature is useful for bringing the drone closer or further away from your position. So just by pushing the joystick up or down, the drone will move away or approach you, no matter where the camera is facing.
  7. Heads up Display (HUD))
    • Display real-time Pitch, Roll, Heading, Altitude and Velocity.
  8. Control Sensitivity settings can be adjusted
  9. Automatic stabilization can be adjusted
  10. Altitude Hold Switch
    •  If ON the quadcopter will try to maintain altitude when activated.
  11. Advanced Settings
    • This is the mode for those of you who are advanced. If enabled the user can change Total Weight, Static/Dynamic thrust, PID settings and aerodynamic Drag values.

  14. Camera Rotation in FPV mode and Gimbal camera.

  17. Max Tilt Angle / Auto Stabilize Sensitivity Slider
    • In Normal Mode the slider changes the maximum Tilt angle setting. This setting determines the maximum roll/field angle the quadcopter will tilt. In Sport Mode it changes the Sensitivity of the automatic stabilizer. The higher setting forces to stabilize the quadcopter.
  18. Acro mode / Acro 3d for expert flying
    • The automatic stabilizer will not be applied in this mode. You need to be an expert to fly in the mode. In 3D Mode where the Quadcopter can fly upside down as well.
